What would you do to pursue your crush?
Back in the day, or it even happens in this modern time, boys would bring their barkada (gang) and “Harana” which means to serenade in order to impress their crush. This is a way of respectful courting for it also attracts and tells the lady’s parents how serious he is of courting her, for he would go through the whole phase of visiting her and singing to her. This is the old fashioned filipino way of asking out.
